Gordon MacGregor, PhD, MBA, serves as Associate Professor of Pharmacology. Dr. MacGregor obtained his BSc (Hons) in biochemistry from University of St. Andrews. He earned his MSc in molecular pathology and PhD from the University of Dundee, and later his MBA from University of Alabama in Huntsville. Prior to joining ACOM, Dr. MacGregor served as assistant professor for the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His research interests include the physiology and pathophysiology of water and electrolyte balance in the body, specifically those diseases caused by gastrointestinal and renal disease and increased sweat loss in hot environments. Dr. MacGregor is a member of the American Physiological Society.
