Biography

Whitney M. Karriger, PhD, serves as Assistant Professor of Anatomy. Dr. Karriger obtained her Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science degree in anthropology from Illinois State University. She earned her Master of Arts and PhD in anthropology from Tulane University. Dr. Karriger’s research interest include understanding variation in craniofacial growth and development in modern humans and Neandertals and in understanding how non-human primate comparative samples can help us better understand growth variation in the genus Homo.
