Biography
Chanté Richardson, PhD, MBA, serves as Associate Professor of Biochemistry. Dr. Richardson obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience with an emphasis in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and Master of Science in biological and physical sciences with an emphasis in molecular medicine from the University of Virginia. She earned her MBA from Ashford University and her PhD in experimental pathology from the University of Virginia. Dr. Richardson is chair of ACOM’s Institutional Diversity Council. Her research seeks to elucidate the scientific implications and rationale for OMT therapy in treating myofascial pain patients with the goal of further advancing the osteopathic medicine philosophy and practice of its manipulative techniques as standard treatments.
