Southeast Health is the first health system in Alabama to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network, and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine is the first and only osteopathic medical school in the network. Through this membership, select Mayo Clinic clinical and educational knowledge resources are available to support teaching, learning, and clinical decision-making for faculty, staff, and students. The collaboration expands access to Mayo Clinic expertise and resources, strengthening both clinical practice and education.

Mayo Clinic is home to the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, which includes multiple schools and nationally recognized education programs. Also within the College is Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education, the largest sponsoring program in the United States, with 204 ACGME accredited programs and a total of 370 training programs.

Through Mayo Clinic Care Network Member participation, selected resources may be accessible to support education and professional development.
