Southeast Health was the first health system in Alabama selected to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network by demonstrating a commitment to the highest quality, patient-centered care. Additionally, Southeast Health passed Mayo Clinic’s comprehensive evaluation process that included an in-depth review of our organization, clinical and business practices, and quality, safety and service efforts.

Through Southeast Health’s Care Network membership, certain Mayo Clinic educational and clinical knowledge resources become available to support teaching, learning, and clinical decision‑making for faculty and staff. The relationship enhances access to expertise but does not change academic governance or accreditation.

Mayo Clinic is home to the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, which includes multiple schools and nationally recognized education programs. Also within the College is Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education, the largest sponsoring program in the United States, with 204 ACGME accredited programs and a total of 370 training programs.

Through Mayo Clinic Care Network Member participation, selected resources may be accessible to support education and professional development.
